Poly propylene glass (PPG)  and FRP (Fiber Glass Reinforced Plastic)  Lining are no longer a new industrial terms. These are know being used for quite some time,  often used in chemical storage tank, water treatment plant, D.M. Plant (demineralization) and other RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) structure for protecting the civil structures from any damage caused by acid, alkali, uv rays heat etc.

 Acid resistant tiles and acid resistant lining are also effective at various places. It has been observed for few years that PPG lining is getting more demand over acid resistant bricks due to lack of maintenance and durability. One more reason is that at juncture point fusion technique is used. No other external material is applied for fusion, thus the material remain pure. This is available up to ten meter length and almost two meter wide therefore the number of joints are negligible and also these can be used in places where the surface is rough

Epoxy lining through fusion is one of the most commonly used method to    
prevent wall and floor from leakage in industries and in houses as well.
Epoxy lining  is a long lasting solution  to erosion and  leakages. The epoxy disallow diffusion of  harmful metals in water bodies. HDPE pipe is used in ETP plant where all type of liquid wastes from home and hospitals are treated to remove impurity in water body. TheHigh-Density Polyethylene Pipe is characterized is designed in such a way that it remains unaffected from the uv rays and also it is  very long lasting secured from corrosion and rusting.

Chemical storage tank is undoubtedly used to fill chemical liquids (acids/alkalies). The wall or surface of such tanks need to be made in such a way that it should be protective from corrosion/erosion. Chemicals can cause very dangerous

effects at times, if they are not properly stored or managed. To protect such chemical containers fiber glass reinforced plastic lining (FRP lining) is a very common practice. FRP lining and Epoxy flooring are very effective in D.M.Plant (Deminralize water treatment plants) where water is processed for extracting minerals and salt & ETP Plant (Effluent Treatment Plant) where chemicals are of high use.

This type of inside coating is usually performed manually by workers.FRP lining is very simpler application compare to others process of lining. This type of lining required different combinations of resin and glass fiber together depending upon concentrations and how much it is exposed to environment. So one can choose a range of varieties according to it's specific needs and spending will or capacity. It is a complete protection of chemical storage tank from acidic fumes.

Ultra violet protective top most layer is important when the civil structure is kept exposed under sun rays and also resin rich top layer is for providing mechanical stability to exposed surface area.
